Mission

The Governor's Office of Homeland Security's (OHS) mission is to prevent and prepare for terrorist attacks to California through information analysis, planning and research, critical infrastructure protection, citizen preparedness, grant management, training and exercises.

OHS Priorities

Our priorities are set through a collaborative approach to homeland security and all hazards preparedness. Success depends on partnerships among federal, state, tribal and local agencies; as well as the private sector and individual citizens.
