California Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program
Vision:
The California Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program will establish an exemplary WMD exercise program enhancing the capacity of state and local governments to prevent and respond to terrorism, which is achieved through a fully integrated program of assistance to the State's homeland security professionals.
Mission Statement:
The California Military Department will develop, coordinate, and lead statewide Homeland Security training and exercise programs for CBRNE. The Homeland Security Training Branch will establish regional training centers. Mobile training teams will be co-located with state and local agencies and other appropriate organizations.
What Is CA-HSEEP?
CA-HSEEP is a program of financial and direct support designed to assist state and local governments with the development and implementation of an exercise and evaluation program to enhance and assess domestic preparedness. A multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts was created to provide exercise coordination services for state and local entities desiring to mitigate the threat of terrorist activities involving WMD's; including:
